PACC911 focuses on providing venues for large joint adoption functions. These well attended events create an ideal opportunity for the animal welfare groups to gain exposure for their organizations and the services they provide, while offering the animals needing to be re-homed a new chance to be seen. These venues also enable the groups the chance to educate the unknowing public about key issues, such as the need to spay and neuter pets as a means of reducing pet euthanasia.

To the delight of PACC911 and Petsmart Charities, our event sponsor, we truly had a perfect day. Our advertising was so effective resulting in a crowded park from start to finish.. Thousands of people attended the event and tolerated a full parking lot! The weather was with us and we had a beautiful day. Many tried out the lure course. Whether or not they adopted on this day the public was surely educated about the importance of adopting their next pet... and the importance of spaying and neutering to avoid unwanted litters with no homes. And the best news of all .... 172 animals found their new forever homes at Anthem on this wonderful Saturday!

The PACC911 Spring Fling at the Franciscan Renewal Center sent 133 animals to their new homes in this 5 hour event. Some great stories as a result of the event: Jim, a long time friend of PACC911 and formerly our liaison at the Franciscan helping with this event for years, had his long time friend Ranger adopted. Poodle Rescue had taken Ranger from Jim, who is now on oxygen full-time and unable to care for him. They tearfully parted weeks ago, but Jim was confident that Poodle Rescue would find a loving home for Ranger. It is most fitting that this happened at the very event Jim helped us to construct! Ranger went to a great home and we know Jim is thrilled to know this. Little Twiggie from Little Rascals had been badly mauled by a larger dog.. She was to be euthanized at the Arizona Humane Society but was taken by Little Rascals Rescue and treated for her injuries. She was featured on TV with Bari prior to the event, and found her new home on this special day and left the spring Fling with her tail wagging high! Our partners from Best Friends travel all the way from their sanctuary in Kanab Utah to join us at this annual event. Seven of their passengers went to new homes. Best Friends works with many of the partner groups in AZ taking animals hard to place when other options are not available - we are proud to call them PACC911 partners! First time at a PACC911 event, our new partners from Globe adopted out several of their precious pups and were thrilled with the new found exposure they received. Our friends from Show Low, Pet Allies, travel to many of our events and went back home yesterday one puppy less. She left the event in loving arms, carried off to her new home! Mash Unit had 3 adoptions. These are cruelty cases from Sheriff Joe's organization. We are always thrilled to know they have adopted out these animals so deserving of love after what they have endured. Mixed up Mutts had 10 adoptions and winning the day AZ Poodle Rescue had 18 adoptions! So many more heartwarming stories come out of this day. Those once with little hope now given a new lease on life. It is our pleasure and our priviledge to make this event happen. Thank you to all thePACC911 partner groups who attended this event and who work day in and out saving lives. You are the heroes. Finally, we are delighted and honored to thank PetSmart Charities, our new and fantasic sponsor who has recently joined PACC911's events to allow us to grow them and make them better! Many of you are now hearing our great radio commercials prior to events... this is possible with PetSmart's help!

Over 50 rescues in attendance and crowds throughout the day! A RECORD 159 adoptions and County almost emptied their entire bus! A great day for all!
A NOTE OF THANKS ~
I think your organization is amazing for getting together these rescues and formulating such incredible adoptathons throughout the valley!
We adopted our two girls 2 years ago from the Anthem adoptathon, Daisy and Annabelle, and our inviting them into our home and lives was a seamless transition.  We just went to Anthem a week and a half ago, and started the adoption on Sampson from Cooper's Chance Rescue. He was rescued from a horrific hoarding situation in Eager, AZ in October, being rehabilitated by his foster mom, Pam and her husband Ty.  She brought Sam over to our house a week ago and although he is timid still and very nervous due to all the trauma in his young life, it has been a wonderful process bringing him into our home.
Without your adoptathons, it is much more difficult to see how a dog and his/her personality may mesh with one's life.  We already have two females, so we wanted to see if there would be personality conflict.  THANK YOU for creating these opportunities which help people like us (with our current doggies) to find beautiful souls (like Sam) to bring home.  My husband and I are forever appreciative!
A thousand thank yous (and many doggie treats) ~ Barb and Eric Lee, Daisy and Annabelle and... Sampson the Great

2nd Annual Petsmart Charities PetWalk
Sunday, Feb 21st at Tempe Town Lake
This event wasn't an adoption event, but rather a fundraising event to add funds to our EMF. Though we didn't have the time or resources (we were quite busy with our HOPE for the Animals event) to market this event properly, we were still able to raise $175 for the animals and PACC911 boardmembers enjoyed walking a few adoptable pets in the PetWalk!

PACC911 Spring Fling Pet Adopt-A-Thon
Saturday, March 6th  10am - 3pm
Franciscan Renewal Center - 5802 East Lincoln Drive, Scottsdale     Map   Flyer
The beautiful weather brought many potential adopters out to this event. It was beautiful, not too hot and not too windy. 112 lucky dogs and cats were happy to go to new furever and through the raffle, silent auction and grill, PACC was able to raise over $2,000 for the Emergency Medical Fund!  Check out the PHOTOS!

PACC911 & Earnhardt Pet Adopt-A-Thon
Saturday, March 20th  10am - 3pm
Earnhardt Ford/Mazda – 7300 West Orchid Lane, Chandler     Map   Flyer
The morning started off cool and a bit windy, but the day turned out to be beautiful. Unfortunately, traffic was very slow at this usually busy event. Perhaps other things were going on in the Valley or perhaps Spring Break took too many away for the weekend... nevertheless, we were very happy that 26 dogs found new homes today! That's 26 dogs that were saved and now are loved - and THAT is what it's all about!

Saturday, October 9th  10am - 3pm
La Rond Center - 14642 North Del Webb Blvd., Sun City   Map    Flyer
This was a small event but had lots of wonderful stories with each adoption. We adopted 27 animals, 6 of which came from County, including a one eyed cat! Despite the small size of this event, we had moderate traffic all day, and we did manage to raise over $800 with our raffle, donations, and sales at the PACC911 store!
We were all touched and excited for each animal that went to its new loving home. Thank you to all who helped! Check out the Sun City newspaper article!
