JUNE 18th, Wednesday
- 7pm: SPECIAL EVENT EXPOSING PUPPY MILLS with author Jan Kohl and her dog Baby at Changing Hands book store in Tempe at 6428 S. McClintock Dr. THE TRUE STORY OF BABY and the mission she inspired to help dogs everywhere. Baby's Rare Breed of Love road trip is visiting more than 20 cities across America to encourage rescue adoption, raise awareness about puppy mills and help promote the welfare of animals.

- Maricopa County's Animal Care and Control's First Annual Volunteer Awards Banquet, 2500 S 27th Avenue, Phoenix.

JULY 12th, Saturday
- 2nd Annual Rescue Roundup in Flagstaff, sponsored by AZ Border Collie Rescue, brings visibility to rescue groups from the northern part of the state and provides a great venue for a fun summer day in the mountains!
