The Alliance

The Alliance for Companion Animals

Fix. Adopt. Save.

PACC911 is proud to be a partner in an alliance comprised of eight animal welfare agencies that have stepped up efforts to tackle the homeless pet problem in Maricopa County. The overall goal of this partnership is a focused approach to increase spaying and neutering aimed at reducing the homeless pet overpopulation dilemma, alongside getting pets out of the shelters and into homes.

With the goal of FIX-ADOPT-SAVE, the Alliance is aided by a three year multimillion dollar campaign funded by Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust and PetSmart Charities. The Alliance has the goal to provide 44,000 free spay & neuter surgeries to prepare pets for adoption while increasing community awareness of the problem.

The Alliance is comprised of PACC911, Altered Tails, the Arizona Animal Welfare League, the Animal Defense League of Arizona, the Arizona Humane Society, HALO Animal Rescue, Healing Hearts, and Maricopa County Animal Care & Control. By coming together we are pooling our expertise and resources to improve the plight of homeless pets.
